…Family is here!
…Dancing, singing, eating all night has begun!
…Air mattresses in every room!
…Aunty inspired decorations hang from the walls!

Yes, I’m only a few short days away…and I can’t believe it!  It honestly feels like someone else’s wedding!! LOL

The FIRST wedding invitiation

…was given out yesterday to my fiance’s mom and dad!

Traditionally, the Hindu wedding invitation is NOT given to any guests of the wedding until it is given to the mandir (which in essence is given to God) and then to the immediate family of the bride or bridegroom respectively.  After which point the invitation can be distributed freely!

So now we are officially going to begin to give out invitations.  My parents will start now, but I’m going to wait for the traditional ‘western schedule’ which dictates 2 months before the wedding date.
